We have made changes in the way we will operate in line with the Government guidelines to ensure the safety of our staff and patients.

Please be reassured that we have carried out a full risk assessment and put in place stringent measures and hygiene processes to ensure a safe environment.

These measures include:

• Consulting room and dispensing area will be disinfected between patients and before practice opening and at the end of day
• Our staff will wear PPE with daily temperature checks and regular handwashing. 
• Closed door policy at outset to limit number of people in the practice. Patients will be asked to make an appointment.
• Hand sanitising gel will be available throughout the practice
• Perspex breath shields in the reception area and on equipment in the consulting room
• Social distancing measures will be in place
• Staff will assist with frame selection to minimise contact in the practice and all frames will be cleaned before placing on display.
• Contactless payment will be requested where possible. Payment station will be cleaned after each use.

In the first instance, we will be prioritising emergency and essential care patients. If you have noticed any change in your vision or have any concerns about your eye health, please contact us on by phone on 020 7700 7557, email or website. 

• Appointments are required for face to face consultations, collections and repairs.
• Patients will be asked to attend appointments on their own wearing mask and gloves. Parent/ guardian will be permitted.
• Patients will be contacted the day before to confirm no COVID symptoms. COVID status will be reconfirmed and temperature taken on arrival. If you feel unwell, please reschedule the appointment

For our contact lens wearers, we will continue ordering your lenses and are happy to post them to you. An appointment will be required should you wish to collect them from the practice.
